Crag Crest Run 2026
26 runners escaped the heat and smoke for a wonderful competition on Grand Mesa. This year's version of the Crag Crest Run was done clockwise and featured the usual multiple tumbles, only one serious, an abundance of wildflowers and views and one bear sighting. Taylor and James dueled to the finish but Taylor managed to prevail for the win despite being one of the tumblers. Michelle pulled off another win for the women. Many thanks to Angela Johnson for marking and unmarking the east end of the course, to Kari for help at the finish, to Karla for baking and to the recently passed Paul Wubben for initiating this long tradition back in 2001.
